ERD Industrial Electronic Repair terms of service are listed below. We adhere to these terms with every job and ask our customers to do the same. Payment Policy

Payment in full is required prior to the return shipment of all repaired units. We accept all major credit cards. High volume customers may secure 30-day terms, provided they remain current in their remittances.

Charge Back Policy

ERD does not endorse any blanket charges or charge backs from its customers. Some examples of non-endorsed charge backs include but are not limited to:

  • Charge Backs Related To Non-Conforming Products
  • Shipping/Packaging Issues
  • Customer Applied Administrative Charges

Rush Order Repair Policy

ERD handles rush order repairs quickly. Your unit(s) can often be repaired within 3 to 5 business days( based on part availability and the difficulty of the repair). ERD has one of the largest parts inventories in the industry. Please note rush fees apply.

Rush Repair Request Procedure

Rush repair requests are quoted and sent back for approval normally within 24 business hours after the unit arrives. The 5-day time frame allows us to overnight parts not in inventory and to execute the repair of your unit. The unit is then “rushed” back to you according to your instructions along with ERD’s 3-Year Warranty. ERD will provide a report of the repairs made to your unit. The customer assumes all responsibility for any and all shipping charges incurred on the stated rush order.

Receiving Policy

Upon arrival, ERD verifies the unit(s) received against the shipping label and carefully inspects your unit(s) for damage that may have incurred in shipping. You will be notified by e-mail as soon as possible of any damage or discrepancies. All materials damaged in shipping will be held pending further instructions from you.

ERD is not responsible for shipping damages, shipping discrepancies, or packages lost in transit.

For items of $500.00 or greater in value, it is recommended that shipping is processed with a “Declared Value”(i.e. Insured) to avoid unnecessary losses.

Quotes

ERD reserves the right to re-quote any repair due to missing parts, numerous repair attempts etc.

USA Shipping Policy

ERD will ship all purchase orders in accordance with the customer’s request.

The customer assumes all responsibility for any and all shipping charges incurred on the stated purchase order.

Shipping charges refused or not paid by the customer are subject to a handling fee of up to $100.00. Such charges will be applied to the customer’s credit card or invoice.

ERD legal fees and court costs associated with recapturing shipping costs will be paid by the customer. These fees and costs are applied at the discretion of ERD LTD INC.

International Shipping Policy

ERD will ship all purchase orders in accordance with the customer’s request. The customer assumes all responsibility for any and all shipping charges as well as import-related charges incurred on the stated purchase order fees, including but not limited to:

  • Custom
  • Duties
  • Taxes
  • Brokerage Fees

For collect shipments, the selected carrier will bill the customer’s account directly. If the shipping charges come back to ERD, the customer will be charged shipping plus a processing fee. Failure to make payment will result in the customer’s account being placed on credit hold.

Shipping charges refused or not paid by the customer are subject to a handling fee of up to $500.00. Such charges including taxes, penalties, duties, storage fees, and other international charges will be applied to the customer’s credit card or invoice.

ERD legal fees and court costs associated with recapturing shipping costs will be paid by the customer. These fees and costs are applied at the discretion of ERD LTD INC.

Storage Fees

ERD reserves the right to impose a storage fee for any units not approved or paid for within 30 days.

Non-Repairable Unit Policy

ERD will provide the customer the option to “scrap” the unit in-house. ERD may impose a storage charge plus a shipping charge per unit(s) not scrapped to ERD.
